How to care for your crystal products
With proper care, your stone products will retain their beauty and strength for a long time. Below you will find clear care instructions for different materials so that you can enjoy your stones and jewelry year after year.
- Do not store stones in direct sunlight, as it will fade the stone over time. The stone can be quickly charged on a windowsill in sunlight, but prolonged storage is harmful to the stone.
- Avoid moisture and store stones in a dry place. Some stones can be charged under running water, but always ensure first that this method is suitable for your chosen material. Too much moisture damages the stone's surface and can cause discoloration.
- Stones can be wiped with a soft, dry cloth. Light rinsing is suitable for some stones (Mohs scale over 7).
- Raw stones are more porous than polished stones, so they can be damaged more easily.
- Store similarly to tumbled stones, protected from moisture and sun.
- Some raw pieces are very porous and can crumble even with touch. Avoid storing such stones in a bag or pocket. Handle with care.
- Clean with a soft, dry cloth. Chemicals can damage the stone's surface.
Carvings such as towers, animal figures, and hearts
- Handle with care, as tensions may remain in the stone during grinding, causing it to chip or break easily.
- A shaped stone can break if it falls to the floor even from a low height. Store on a stable surface.
- Store like other stones in a dry place and protected from direct sunlight to preserve their beautiful colors.
- Clean with a soft, dry cloth. You can lightly clean under water if needed and dry the stone thoroughly. Chemicals can damage the stone's surface.
- Avoid getting the bracelet wet - do not wear it when washing dishes, showering, or swimming.
- Do not wear the bracelet when sauna bathing or exercising.
- It's advisable to remove the bracelet at night to prevent it from tightening or breaking while sleeping.
- Be careful not to snag the bracelet on clothing or a bag – the elastic band can snap surprisingly easily.
- It is natural for the elastic band to wear out with use. We do not replace bracelets that break during use.
- Avoid moisture, such as showering and swimming with the jewelry.
- Remove jewelry when sleeping and exercising.
- Avoid contact with chemicals such as perfume and cosmetics.
- It is natural for silver and metals to darken or oxidize over time. This can be influenced by skin pH level, dust, air pollution, and chemicals such as lotions and perfumes.
- Clean tarnished jewelry with a jeweler, silver polish, or polishing cloth.
- Jewelry is best stored in its own pouch or storage box, separate from other jewelry.
- Clean metal jewelry with a soft, dry cloth periodically, even if it doesn't look dirty.
Plywood and wooden products, such as stone ball stands
- Store in a dry place. Avoid continuous moisture or getting wet, as excessive moisture can cause the plywood to warp or delaminate.
- Protect from sunlight. Prolonged direct sunlight can fade the wood surface and cause blistering.
- Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth. If necessary, mild soap can be used, but avoid soaking and harsh cleaning agents.
- If desired, you can treat the surface with wood oil or beeswax. This provides additional protection against dirt and moisture, but oil may darken the wood tone.
- Avoid heavy mechanical wear. Do not scratch the surface with sharp objects - this will keep the beautiful laser-cut pattern neat.
