About Amethyst Cat and the birth of the online store

Kivikauppa Ametistikissa is an online store that began operations in November 2022. The idea of establishing an online store started to develop when my husband and I moved from Tampere back to our shared hometown, the small rural town of Laitila. My interest in entrepreneurship was sparked, and I quickly familiarized myself with various training courses and lectures on the subject. My husband and I shared a common hobby of rocks and minerals, and I delved into my interest in the Finnish market situation. I believed I had something to contribute to this field and could offer something new. Thus, my personal interest became my profession!

My personal interest in rocks and crystals primarily stemmed from their energies. My own collection mainly consists of small, personally significant pieces. At home, I also have, for example, a rock tumbler and a rock saw, because I wanted to polish rocks myself! Indeed, a few rock carvings polished by my husband can be found on my shelf.

Important values for me in entrepreneurship are transparency, customer-centricity, and clarity, which is reflected, for example, in product images and detailed product descriptions. I also appreciate these qualities when dealing with wholesalers. My goal is to be approachable and always create the best possible customer experience!
